<<As human beings we act constantly accordingly to our beliefs, which are the product of what we think is real or not. But what happens to those beliefs when we acknowledge that what we think as a fundamental reality is actually an illusion?>> The piece is a reflection about the dichotomy between Reality and Illusion, questioning if such differences actually exist or not. The choreographer interrogates himself about questions like: Can our logical side and our emotional side experience two different realities? If so, which one should we rely on more, in order to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life? Is it necessary or even possible to prefer one to the other? Is there such a thing as universal reality? Specifically for this piece Valerio puts "Time" at the centre of this topic, comparing the way science explains time and its behaviour with the way we perceive and relate to it. Valerio :<<As a choreographer and dancer I believe that movement and action are the most fundamental ways to achieve the profoundest understanding of our inner and outer world, and only through this understanding can we grow first as an individual and then as a society>>.
